Howdy.
I am posting this for cruncher Gary Charpentier who is, for some reason, unable to sign up for the forum.
He crunches fine with a PC but when he tries to crunch with his Mac, it errors out after about 10 seconds. Here is a link to the generated error:
Any help with this or with why he is unable to access this forum would be appreciated.

Right now, the Mac client is broken for OS X 10.4 and 10.5. It should work with 10.6. We will be making major changes to the client within the next few weeks, and will hopefully be able to provide a client that works on all intel macs.
Could you tell me what account name Gary tried to register with? We manually activate accounts to reduce spam and may have missed his.

Okay, thanks. Will pass this along to him.
He probably used the name he uses everywhere to register: Gary Charpentier
I will double check that, tho.

Okay, here is Gary's account at eOn

The problem with his signing up for the forum is that the system wouldn't accept his email address. He get's a message that his email is invalid, yet it is the same email he has used since 1986.

If you know it is broken then why isn't it listed here
http://eon.ices.utexas.edu/eon2/apps.php as not working?
As to the forum account issue I had to use a different e-mail address for it to even get to the point where you could act on it. It instantly came back as invalid try again with the first address.

I have changed the description to state that it only works for OS X 10.6.
