Okay maybe it is time again to spend CPU-cycles to any other project for a decade or two until some real software developers may join eOn to teach how to build, test and improve software.
First of all learn the very basic lesson of software development => how to roll-out new software releases.

Re: Checkpoints?
There are sure cases in which a System can not be running 24/7.
There are cases where someone turns off the System to stop working, get some sleep and turn it on a few hours later (but in less then 24 hours) so do i have to suspend early enought to let a workunit finish up to 100% until i can leave ...

Administration of the Project alive or dead?
Just let us know if you are alive! (we hope you do!)
But we are still missing some signs of live.
Maybe we need to found a project STLS@home (Searching Terrestrial Life Somewhere) ;-)

Re: Low points
The credit is getting lower on my windows machine. Same runtime, but only half of the credits i had before (and this was not even much as in older version)

Checkpoints?
Maybe i've done something wrong, but i believe the checkpoints are not working. Okay in the past there was no need for it because the workunits did not take much time. But i don't like to waste cpu time because after a break the workunit is starting from the beginning.

Re: Low points
I think something is really wrong with the credit calculation of the workunit since v3.04!
Okay maybe Saenger has no differences but others have differences for sure.
So it would be no fault for the project admins to take a deeper look at this issue.

Re: Longer WUs
a) The 3.00 Client was really generous, but this version is the one i have missed ;)
b) I see in your case that there is no real big difference. Estimated 10 times longer duration and 10 times more credit is a fair deal
c) in my case i see that v3.01 pays only 56% of the credits compared to the v2 ...

Re: Longer WUs
What about the Credits? I've not crunched that much from the new ones, but it feels like 30% less credit per CPU-time in relation to the former Workunits. Fault or Intention or am i just too impatient ;-)
Lets see how the following workunits are rated on this or any other PC.
